Level 3-Druid Ruins I
You stand in the center of a very small remote city. There is a buzz about it as everyone is keeping very busy. There is an Armour shop to the north, Weapon shop to the south, and Training Grounds to the east.The way to the west is guarded by a huge gate with several guards.
ARMOUR SHOP: (Some of these items may change depending on the character's class)
· Druid Robe (Buy for 250 Gold) -Druid Robe is body Armor with a 10 to block and 150 damage points
· Druid Leather (Buy for 750 Gold) -Druid Leather is body Armor with a 2 to block and 100 damage points
· Druid Plate (Buy for 2000 Gold) -Druid Plate is body Armor with a 3 to block and 500 damage points
· Druid Bracers (Buy for 150 Gold) -Druid Bracers is a Shield with a 15 to block and 50 damage points
· Druid Door Shield (Buy for 150 Gold) -Druid Door Shield is a Shield with a 12 to block and 150 damage points
· Druid Ward Shield (Buy for 750 Gold) - Druid Ward Shield is a Shield with a 10 to block and 300 damage points
· Druid Gem Shield (Buy for 3000 Gold) - Cduid Gem Shield is a Shield with a 9 to block and 500 damage points
WEAPONS SHOP: (Some of these items may change depending on the character's class)
· Druid Dagger (Buy for 600 Gold) - Druid Dagger is a Melee weapon that does 1d10+2 damage
· Druid Staff (Buy for 700 Gold) - Druid Staff is a Melee weapon that does 1d12+2 damage
· Druid Psychic Blade (Buy for 6500 Gold) - Druid Psychic Blade is a Melee weapon that does 1d18+3 damage
· Druid Daggers (Buy for 400 Gold) - Druid Daggers is a Missile weapon that does 1d11+1 damage with 20 rounds left
· Druid Sling (Buy for 1000 Gold) - Druid Sling is a Missile weapon that does 1d11+1 damage with 100 rounds left
· Druid Psychic Bow (Buy for 2500 Gold) - Druid Psychic Bow is a Missile weapon that does 1d16+2 damage with 100 rounds left
· Druid Sling of Shock (Buy for 2500 Gold) - Druid Sling of Shock is a Missile weapon that does 1d20+2 damage with 100 rounds left

Talk to the Gate Guard: "I see you are skilled enough to take our test of goodness. Please know that there is a great evil to our west, but we have placed a powerful ward on the gateway so only those pure of heart may pass. You will have to pass both the test of purity and the test of faith in order to pass. There is still a risk to the city so make sure you use the lever to close the drawbridge after you cross. If you do not, you will DIE!
Go West and flick Drawbridge switch off, you will get hurt a little here
West again, then you can rest
To the North there is a Fight: 1 Forest Guard
Go North again and talk to the Old Man: "Hello my Child, before you can take the Test of faith, you must pass the test of purity. I am here to to give you that test. When you are done talking with me, a switch will magically appear. This switch will grant you passage to the west and east, but only one at a time. The man to the east is in prison for killing a wolf, and the other for killing a deer. You are to be the judge of who's crime is worse."
Exit the chat, but don't flick any switches, instead, talk to him again and choose: "Myself if I were to judge." The Old Man will say "Very good my child, you neither judge these people, nor even wish to judge them. You have done well." He will award you 700 Exp.
Exit the chat and go South 3 times, you will come across another Fight: 1 Forest Guard.
Go South again and Talk to the Temple Priest: "Hello my child. I see that you have passed the test of purity, now it is time for you to pass my test, the test of faith. Go now, through the door to the east, walk along the tunnel and feel the pain of the traps. Flip the switch at the end of the tunnel and feel the wrath of the worst traps as you return here to me. Be sure to remember how much damage was done to you totally."
As with the test of Purity before, Exit the chat, talk to him again. Tell him "That's not a test of faith" and he will say: "Ah, very good my child. Blind belief and faith in people will get you nowhere but into trouble. If I asked you to jump off a cliff to tell me how long it took you to hit the ground, would you?" He will award you 800 Exp.
Go North twice, back to the junction and some potions should appear:
· Yellow Potion is a potion that heals Hit Points for potion points.
· Green Potion is a potion that refreshes Spell Points by potion points.
Go West and into a Fight: 2 Gogbas
Go North twice and you'll run into another Fight: 1 Apprentice Mistress
Flip the Torture Switch on, you'll get hurt for anything up to 15, so you might want to keep resting until it is a low hit,
To the West is a Fight: 1 Apprentice Mistress
Flip the Protective Switch on, Priests can also pick up the Whip of Power here. Go East, the trap won't hurt you, and then North Talk to the Evil Mistress, she will jump out for a Fight: 1 Mistress
Exit the chat with the dying man, Pick up the Key of Decay and go South, again this will hurt a little
Go South 3 more times and you will come to the Decaying Keyhole, use it and go South into a Fight: 2 Skeletons (Total: 600 Exp. and 60 Gold)
Now a switch appears: Decaying Switch: Flip to off | Food | Armies | My Master
First choose 'Food' Go East and Fight: 1Flesh Hound Flick the Decaying switch on
Go West back to the multiple choice switch and hit it to 'Armies' To the West is a Fight: Two more skeletons
Go West again and another Fight: 1 Zombie Flip the Decaying Switch on,
East twice back to the main switch and flick it to 'My Master' Go South, then West, and Fight: 1Novice Necromancer Pick up the Key of Demons and a potion:White Potion is a potion that heals both Hit Points and Spell Points for potion points.
Then read the letter: "My Good Necromancer, I hope the army building is going well, if we tease these stupid druids a little more our undead army should be large enough to please the Great Aries. When your numbers reach over 100, please come and inform me. The combination to my Door is Neseswnw, but don't forget to take the long way around so the traps won't destory you like my last necromancer. Nothing will stop us! Unila, Minor Demon of Aries"
Go East and then North 3 times until you can go West Use the Key in the Demonic Keyhole and go North into a Fight: 1 Demon Guard
Flip the Demon Switch on. You are now going to go round and round in circles, and so if this part of the walkthrough doesn't fit with what you are doing, don't worry, just keep going round counter-clockwise until you have hit all four switches
There will be another 3 Demon Guards to fight as well. Just so you know where they are if things are the same for you:
Go West twice to Fight: 1 Demon Guard Then go South twice to Fight: 1Demon Guard Go East twice to Fight: 1Demon Guard If you come across any Demon Switches in that time, flip them on - if not, keep going round counter-clockwise until you have hit all four to 'on'
From this point, where there is such a switch, go North twice, West twice, South twice (another switch) Then go East twice, North twice, West twice and the last switch (if not already) should appear
Go south and then East for a Fight: 1 Minor Demon
When you kill him, Wizards can pick up the Dagger of Death Otherwise, go and get your reward. Go back to the start of the ruins (Do not go down to the next level yet!)
Once there, talk to the Town Elder: "Oh thank you so much for killing the evil Unila! We are forever in your debt. Please visit our Druid Library and learn one thing you wish, but choose wisely for you can only learn one skill." You will also gain 1000 experience Go East and then North to acces the Druid Library and from there, choose your book of learning.
