Level 12-Dwarven Tunnels II
You enter the gate and suddenly the air around you thins, and becomes clear. You must be getting close to where the other dwarves live, and you walk in warily. You see a sign at the end of the path to the north. Go North You see a sign at the fork, and it says "<----- Vermillion's Domain | Town of Tencia ----->"You stand by the sign, and begin to plot your next move.
Go East to Fight: 2 Giant Bears (Total: 194,000 exp and 2000 gold)
Go East again and flip the switch to South
Go South and Fight: 2 Crystal Swordsmen (Total: 120,000 exp and 1200 gold)
Go South and flip the Wall Switch off
Then go North twice and West four times to Fight: 2 Stone Guardians (Total: 100,000 exp and 1200 gold)
And then go North and talk to the captain. No matter what you say, you will end up in a Fight: 3 Dwarven Warriors (Total: 132,000 exp and 1350 gold)
Go South and then East four times back to the junction, then flip to North and go North to find a hostage situation.
Talk and choose to throw a rock at the captain to distract him. You will then Fight: 2 Dwarven Warriors 1 Dwarf Captain (Total: 163,000 exp and 1650 gold)
Go North and talk to the boy's father: 'I'd like to thank you for saving my son by giving you this key to the gate. You are now a hero to our village. Come inside, there is a man who can help you sneak into the castle where more of our children are imprisoned in slavery and where that tyrant, Vermillion, grows fatter.'*Fumes in anger* 'Anyway, please come in.' *Opens the gate and walks in*
Take the key and go West Read the sign: 'Welcome traveller, to the dwarven town of Tencia. We hope you enjoy your stay. To the north is our Training Grounds, and to the west is Drin's Tavern. To the south you will find our weapon and armour shop. While it is small, you will find our people friendly and hospitable.'
In the training grounds are:
· 1 Dwarven Warrior
· 1 Dwarf Captain
· 1 Crystal Swordsman
· 1 Stone Guardian
· 1 Dwarf Titan
Go West and talk to Drin the Bartender: *Lowers his talk to a whisper* 'Listen kid, I'm sure you heard that I can help you get in the castle. Take this key and use it on this back room here. Everyone thinks it holds expensive drinks, but it holds a secret passageway to the front room of the castle as well. You can use this to save the kids and kill that wicked king. Good luck!'
Take the key and go West twice to Fight: 2 Dwarven Warriors
Take the Leg of Lamb and go North to Fight: 2 Crystal Swordsmen
Then go East twice for another Fight: 1 Dwarf Captain 1 Dwarven Warrior (Total: 119,000 exp and 1200 gold)
Talk to the boys and give them directions on how to get out, then read the note: ' Continue to have the kids collect the venite mineral and use that to make the death rays. When we have enough, we can use them to annihilate those rebel dwarves and afterwards, we can expand outwards onto the surface. The world is just waiting for us to take it, and soon, it will all be in my grasp! Remember to use the skull switch in the main hall between 22:00 and 2:00 to deliver the death rays to me.'
Go West twice and wait till 22:00
Flip skull switch on and go North for a Fight: 2 Stone Guardians
Then go North and talk to King Vermillion shouting at him to 'STOP!'
You will then Fight: 2 Crystal Swordsmen 1 Dwarf Titan (Total: 185,000 exp and 2000 gold)
Go north and pick up the Portal Key Read the book of learning: Swift Strike (2*75%) for Wizards and Psionics Attack of the Dead (1*400%) for other classes
Then go back to the village and outside the bar is the Village Elder, talk to him: 'Thank you so much for saving our village! You have relieved us of so much tension, knowing that our lives would have come to an end if it weren't for you. In return for protecting us, we would like to aid you by giving you this money, may you spend it wisely on your future quests. Goodbye my friend!'
If you go into the bar and talk to Drin, he will also reward you: ' You did it lad! You saved the village and my bar! Aye, I saw Vermillion aiming that ray at us and I thought I was a goner, but you showed up just in time. Feel free to order a drink from here anytime, it's on the house! You want a drink? Here.' *He slides you down a popular dwarven drink*
You drink it and it heals you 63 hit points, and you feel like a million gold.
From there, the level ends for now, but there should be more to come. Find your way to the start and leave the Dwarven Tunnels.
